AMH | Antimüllerian hormone

Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) - is intended to help assess ovarian follicular reserve in women and girls over 12 years of age in the context of ovarian dysfunction or managed or assisted reproduction. Confirms that the measurement of AMH levels is useful in the study of women in various fields. It shows the natural decrease in ovarian reserve and the associated feeling of reduced fertility, and is therefore recommended as an aid to women planning to have children. In women with ovulatory problems, the level of serum AMH allows better identification of the type of ovarian dysfunction, especially hypergonadotropic anovulation associated with ovarian insufficiency, such as polycystic ovary syndrome.
