Anti-IAA (insulin autoantibodies)

Anti-IAA (insulin autoantibodies) - these are found in 30-50% of patients with newly diagnosed type I CD. Anti-IAA is inversely correlated with age, i.e. i.e. it is found much more often in young people - up to 5 years of age, who have an increased rate of destruction of pancreatic islet β cells.
