CA-125 Ovarian Cancer Marker - This test is intended for use as an adjunct in the diagnosis of persistent or recurrent ovarian carcinoma in patients who have received primary therapy and are scheduled for secondary care procedures. In addition, the study is designed to perform serial CA 125 measurements in the follow-up of cancer patients. This test is also intended to be used in conjunction with the HE4 test, which is part of the ROMA (Risk Of Ovarian Malignancy Algorithm) and is used to assess the risk of ovarian cancer in premenopausal and postmenopausal women with pelvic tumors.
