Antibodies against Trichinella IgG (Trichinellosis) - this indicator is used to confirm Trichinella spiralis infection. Clinical features of trichinosis: fever, muscle pain, neurological symptoms, myocardial damage, eosinophilia, increase in immunoglobulin IgE concentration. Most often, the serological test is positive 10-15 days after infection, the antibody titer reaches its maximum after 2-6 months, after which it slowly decreases. IgG antibodies persist for many years and are detected even in cases of mild or asymptomatic infection.
